(No) Tener pelos en la lengua 2006
Factoría de la Universidad Arcis, Santiago de Chile

No tener pelos en la lengua is a Spanish idiom without an English equivalent. Loosely translated as "to not have hair on the tongue," it implies speaking with clarity; conversely, to have hair on one's tongue implies the opposite condition. In this material-based performance, a beef tongue and human hair - materials incongruent to the space inside the mouth - are juxtaposed as an experiment to produce affective and sense-based experiences.
