This experimental body of work explored optical phenomenology. How can art deceive optical perception, and for what purpose? Using materials ranging from soot left behind by a welding torch, black flocking, physical holes, and manipulation of light, these works explored deception of perception that enables going beyond 'not seeing' and seeing with the imagination.
